Light at then end of the tunnel Friday

Friday is finally here, the school year is almost over and those are both good things.

Golf went ok last night. I golfed like crap but had fun. The weather was great, the group I played with was a blast and the food was good so what is there to complain about (besides loosing a ball in the dang pond!).

Drew has a baseball game tonight. Jessi has a softball game tonight and it is supposed to rain. There has been so much rain here lately I have been tempted to check the neighborhood to see if anyone is building an arc.

We have had an disturbing event here in town. There is a guy on the loose that has entered a home and sexually assulted a woman and attacked another woman who was walking/jogging. They have put out alerts to everyone in town. I hope they catch they guy soon.

On the brighter side of things. Molly is doing well. She plays at night and sleeps most of the day. I have been bringing her to my office during the day and she has done great. She had two accidents the first day but nothing since. She sleeps and then I take her outside and she does her business and then back to rest. She is a cutie.

Nancy, Joyce and I are headed to Anaheim, California at the end of the month so I am starting to look forward to that trip. We have a week full of classes but should have plenty of time in the evenings to site see and relax.

Good Weather - "and that starts with G and that rhymes with Tee and that stands for Golf"

I think we are finally going to have some decent weather today. At least that is what the lying weather people say. It should be a good day for golf.

Other events today. Jessica has a softball game tonight, it is away. She also has a game tomorrow night and then a tournament this Saturday. I am sure she will do well.

Drew has a game tomorrow night. They have cancelled so many games and so many practices it is going to be the season that never ends. He is looking forward to the end of the season because I told him he could take guitar lessons after baseball season is over. It gives him something to look forward to.

I have posted all of my pictures on the web. You can take a look at them by clicking on this link: http://picasaweb.google.com/richjustrich/RichSStuff

Little Molly got her 12 week shots yesterday. She was a trooper and didn't even cry. She has to go back in a few weeks for her last booster. She also got her first bath last night. It did not go well. She is not a happy bath taker. She jumped and tried to run and shook and fought. Whew, it was a battle. I eventually won, with the help of the goose, and she is now a clean puppy. Shots and a bath all in one day you would think she would have been worn out but she was a little terror last night. Running around all wild and chewing on stuff and completely hyper. She finally settled down around 9 and went to sleep.

I hope you are able to enjoy the good weather today.

Is it Hump Day?

When I woke up this morning I thought, "Ahhh, Hump Day!", but is it really a hump day when we have a four day work week? hmmmm!

It has been very rainy here lately and it doesn't look like it is going to get any better over the next few days. It is supposed to rain today and then again on Friday. What a drag!

Last night it poured for about 20 minutes which was enough to cancel Drew's baseball game and shorten Jessica's softball practice. This has been a terribly wet spring.

I have some pictures of Molly. They should be to the left. She is currently sitting at my feet in the booth. She has been pretty good for a puppy. She goes to the bathroom outside very well but has an occasional accident inside. Most of it is her not knowing how to hold it yet. If she has to go, she just goes.

I leave for California at the end of June. It should be a good trip. We checked our class schedule yesterday and it looks like we got bumped from some of the classes we scheduled. We are going to look into getting enrolled in more classes today.

The end of the school year is getting close and I can't wait. A week from today and it is done! Jessica doesn't have to go the last day of school, they do finals Monday and Tuesday and she doesn't have any of Wednesday so she is done on Tuesday.

I start golf league this week. Well, league has been going for two weeks but Thusday will be my first night out. I need to go and check my cart to make sure it runs. I would hate to have to walk the first night out. Where would I put my beer?

Have a good day today!

Short Week

The end of the school year is winding down. We still have a bit to go but at least this is a short week. Drew has a game tonight. Both of the kids have games on Friday and Jess has a game on Thursday. I think there may be a tournament on Saturday.

We have a new puppy! Her name is Molly and she is a 12 week old miniature schnauzer. She is a cutie and I would post some pics of her but I can't find the stupid USB cable for the camera. UGH!

The weekend was good. I did a bunch of yard work and it was long overdue. It was graduation weekend so Jess had some parties to attend. I personally don't like that sort of thing but will have to endure the events when my kids graduate.

I have a couple of meetings today that I really do not want to attend. I am at the point that I just want to sit in my office and do my work without having to meet with anyone or see anyone except Nancy. She is good for me, she helps get me out of grouchy moods. Not that I am grouchy very often but ocassionally, it happens.

I am ready for the school year to be done!
